Release 1.5.0 – New Updates & Announcement
We’re excited to share our latest updates with you. Here’s what’s new in Release 1.5.0:
New Add On: Sales and Service Tax (SST)
- Taxable by Default: New flag on Product, Product Type, and Service to automatically apply tax in transactions.
- Default Tax Configuration: Set Default Tax Type and Tax Rates directly in Settings.
- Accounting for SST:
- Service Tax: Posted to Service Tax Deferred Account when invoiced, then moved to SST Payable upon receiving payment.
- Sales Tax & Other Tax Types: Posted directly to SST Payable Account.
- New SST Summary Report: Displays incurred tax amounts and outstanding balances, grouped by tax type and rate.
- Pricing: Additional RM15 per month.
Updates: Delivery & Returns
- Added support for return of incoming and outgoing goods (Return Notes).
- Enabled serial number scanning on the Replenish page (previously only available on the Shipping page).
- Digital Signature: Configure signature placeholders in Delivery/Return Note templates and capture signatures using the integrated digital pad.
Update: Non-billable Consumption
- New option when adding items in Quotation, Sales Order, and Invoice.
- Visibility: Not shown on customer documents.
- Billing: Not chargeable to customer.
- Inventory: Stock deducted internally for the job.
Update: Inventory Tracking Methods
- Now you can choose between:
- Perpetual: Purchases recorded directly in Inventory Account, inventory and COGS updated in real time.
- Periodic: Purchases recorded in Purchase Account, with inventory and COGS adjusted at period end.
- Configuration available in Chart of Account → Account Rules.
Update: Scheduling Configuration
- Added new settings to configure Scheduling Start and End Time to align with customer business operation hours.
Enhancements & Bug Fixes
- Added a 4th Price Tier (up to 4 selling prices).
- Various improvements and fixes for better performance and user experience.
