Scheduling Enhancements

More flexibility and visibility for how jobs are staffed, tracked, and credited.

Multiple Secondary Teams: Assign more than one secondary team to a job, alongside the primary team.
Job Progress & Team Allocation: Define each team's split percentage and track job progress — both factor into how the Allocated Sales Amount is calculated and divided among teams.
Labor Hour Rate: Set an hourly rate per team to automatically calculate planned and actual labor cost for each job.
Allocated sales and labor cost figures are available in the Dashboard (Team Summary) and in Custom Reports (Labor Cost Summary, Labor Cost by Team).
Internal Jobs: Mark a job as internal (e.g. meetings, training) when there's no customer involved — customer fields are disabled automatically.
Configure each team's default Split % and Hourly Rate in Settings.

Knock off multiple unpaid invoices in a single payment, instead of processing them one at a time.
Record a payment directly from the Debtor or Creditor page, without needing to open each invoice individually.

Purchase Now Supports Non-Product Items

Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices can now handle more than just stock items.

Add Services, Product Types, Custom items, discounts, and taxes directly in Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices.
Choose how each non-product item is treated: absorb its cost proportionally into the inventory cost of product items (e.g. freight, delivery charges), or post it directly to a selected expense account (e.g. repair, maintenance).
Configure the default behavior and expense account for each item in master data (Product Type, Service).

Quotation Revisions

Keep a full history of changes made to a quotation.

Revise a quotation while keeping a record of its previous version.
View the complete revision history, including who made each change and when.
Revert to a previous version of a quotation if needed.

Can I assign more than one team to a job in Chillhub?

Yes. Each job has a primary team, and from Release 1.10 you can add multiple secondary teams. You can set a split percentage for each team to divide the Allocated Sales Amount between them.

How does Chillhub calculate labor cost for a job?

You set an hourly rate per team. Chillhub uses that rate to calculate the planned and actual labor cost for each job. The figures are shown in the Dashboard (Team Summary) and in the Labor Cost Summary and Labor Cost by Team custom reports.

Can I knock off several invoices with one payment?

Yes. A single payment can now knock off multiple unpaid invoices, for both customers and suppliers. You can record it straight from the Debtor or Creditor page.

How do I add freight charges to a purchase invoice so they count toward inventory cost?

Add the freight as a non-product item on the Purchase Order or Purchase Invoice and choose to absorb its cost into inventory. Chillhub spreads it proportionally across the product items. Charges such as repair or maintenance can be posted to an expense account instead.

Can I go back to an older version of a quotation?

Yes. Every revision is kept with a record of who made the change and when, and you can revert to a previous version.
